Eligible Roaming Countries:
*International Roaming Pack can be used while you are in the following 30 countries (Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA & Vietnam). International Roaming Pack inclusions cannot be used within Australia.
When you have an active International Roaming Pack and are located in one of the eligible roaming countries listed above:
- Standard international voice calls can be made to and received from the eligible roaming countries listed above, plus Australia.
- Data can be used while you are in one of the eligible roaming countries listed above.
- SMS messages can be received from any country, and can be sent to any of the eligible roaming countries listed above, plus Australia.
Purchasing packs while overseas?
The easiest way to buy while you’re overseas at one of the eligible roaming countries listed above is to SMS the word “ROAM1,3,7” to 12612 from your mobile and pay with the credit card stored on your account.
Or, purchase via the Kogan Mobile app, use your online account or call customer support on 12612 from your mobile.
Use multiple vouchers at once
You can have up to five International Roaming Packs with varying expiry periods, inclusions active on your plan at any one time. For example, if you had five activate simultaneously (24 hour pack x 3, 3 Day Pack x 1 and 7 Day Pack x1), you would get 10GB of data, 400 SMS messages and 6.7 hours of international standard voice calls to use within 7 Days.
Or, purchase multiple International Roaming Packs at once from Kogan.com to use over more than a 24 hour, 3 Day and/or 7 Day period. You will receive an email with each voucher, which you can activate when you want the 24 hour, 3 Day and/or 7 Day period to begin.

- Selected Eligible Roaming Countries – ROAMING PACK is only available for use in the following selected Eligible Roaming Countries: Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Phillipines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA & Vietnam. These countries are subject to change from time to time, so it’s important to check that your chosen country is included before you travel at https://www.koganmobile.com.au/plans/mobile/international-roaming-packs for list of current countries before you travel. - Inclusions
- Standard incoming and outgoing voice calls: ROAMING PACK includes an allowance for standard incoming and outgoing voice calls to and from (i) a standard Australian number, or (ii) a standard number of an Eligible Roaming Country. Excludes calls to premium numbers/services, overseas freephone numbers, video calls, re-routed calls and cannot be used for commercial purposes or for resale purposes. Both outgoing and incoming voice calls are charged in per 1-minute increments.
- Standard TXT: ROAMING PACK includes an allowance for standard outgoing TXT, to (i) a standard Australian number, or (ii) a standard number of an Eligible Roaming Country. Excludes any picture text or multimedia messages
- Data: ROAMING PACK includes a data allowance. Data is charged in per KB increments for both download and upload.
- ROAMING PACK is only available for purchase and use if you are an existing Kogan Mobile customer with an active account and an active Kogan Mobile Plan. New Kogan Mobile Customers who activated a SIM will need to recharge with Kogan Mobile Plan before purchasing a ROAMING PACK
- Expiry Period – each International Roaming Pack has an expiry period of either: 1-day (1-Day Roaming Pack), 3-days (3-Day Roaming Pack) or 7 days (7-Day Roaming Pack) (each separately known as “Expiry Period”). The Expiry Period will commence immediately after purchase or after activation depending on the chosen method of purchase (this is outlined below).
- Expiry Period commencement – Where the ROAMING PACK is purchased from koganmobile.com.au, the Expiry Period will begin immediately after purchase. Where the ROAMING PACK is purchased as a voucher, the Expiry Period will begin from activation.
- Roaming Pack is a one-off purchase and does not reoccur. This means you will need to purchase another International Roaming Pack at the end of your Expiry Period or when all inclusions are exhausted (whichever occurs first), if you want to continue using your Kogan Mobile in an Eligible Roaming Country.
- You can purchase up to five ROAMING PACKS, and these will be active simultaneously. The ROAMING PACK with the earliest expiry will be consumed first. However the Expiry Period of each ROAMING PACK will run concurrently
- Unused inclusions will be forfeited at the end of the ROAMING PACK Expiry Period, and any unused data will not contribute to any Data Rollover you may have.
- Unless stated otherwise, ROAMING PACK can only be purchased via Online at www.koganmobile.com.au/plans/mobile/international-roaming-packs, your mobile via the Kogan Mobile App, by calling 12612 from your Kogan Mobile, or via SMS.
- ROAMING PACK service is subject to overseas network limitations and availability and individual device capabilities. Some Kogan Mobile services may not be available whilst roaming in some countries
